Surfshark One Pro review 2026: what the extra money buys and when it pays off
Surfshark One Pro is the One+ plan with Incogni Unlimited. Besides sending automatic opt-out requests to hundreds of data brokers, it also goes after sites where you find your details yourself. You pay $215.73 for the first 27 months, then $199 a year. We went through the price list, terms, help center, audits and independent tests to work out who should buy it and who is better off with a cheaper plan. Everything here is correct as of September 30, 2026.
Surfshark lists three plans on its pricing page and sells a few more through special offers. One Pro is one of those: you only find it on the offer page with the OnePro code, and only as a two-year plan with three bonus months. That’s why clear information about it is hard to come by. Even Surfshark’s help center doesn’t mention it yet and lists only Starter, One and One+ (Surfshark).
Prices below are in US dollars before sales tax, with euro prices for buyers in the eurozone. For every feature we note where it actually works, because several parts of the bundle are limited to the US or to one browser.

02What Surfshark One Pro is and how it differs from One and One+
Surfshark builds its plans like a staircase. Each step includes everything below it and adds something. One Pro is the last step before Ultimate, and it differs from One+ in a single way: Incogni Unlimited instead of standard Incogni. We confirmed this in the plan data Surfshark’s checkout uses: the only item that differs between One+ and One Pro is the Incogni version. Everything else is identical.

The table shows one oddity: Ultimate costs $54 more in the first term but renews at the same price as One Pro. 03How much Surfshark One Pro costs
The offer page advertises a monthly price, but you pay the whole amount upfront: $215.73 for 27 months (Surfshark), which works out to about $7.99 a month over the full term. Buyers in the eurozone pay in euros plus local VAT: in Slovakia, for example, One Pro costs €215.73 before VAT and €265.35 with 23% VAT, then renews at €175.46 a year before VAT, or €215.82 with VAT. VAT is added at checkout, and US buyers may also pay sales tax depending on their state.

What matters is what happens after the first term. The two-year plan doesn’t renew for another two years; it renews every year at the yearly price. For One Pro that’s $199, or about $16.58 a month instead of $7.99. Under its terms, Surfshark emails you before an automatic renewal, and you can turn renewal off in your account at any time (Surfshark, help center).
One Pro only comes as a two-year plan with three bonus months. If you want to pay monthly or yearly, you have to stay on One+ or a lower plan. The terms also say the bundle can’t be split: cancel it and you lose every service at once, so you can’t keep just the VPN (Surfshark).
04Incogni Unlimited: the main reason to buy One Pro
Incogni belongs to Surfshark. It sends data removal requests on your behalf to data brokers and people search sites. After you sign up you create a separate Incogni account and sign an authorization so it can act for you (Surfshark). The first requests go out within 24 hours; many brokers delete your data within a week, some take a month or two.
Standard Incogni (in One+) automatically covers more than 420 data brokers. Unlimited adds unlimited custom requests: send a link to a site where you found your details, and Incogni’s privacy team will work to remove them even where automatic requests don’t reach. Incogni says Unlimited covers more than 3,000 additional sites and adds live phone support (Incogni, Incogni help center).
Where you live makes a big difference. The automatic list is mostly American: only 45 of the 420 companies on Incogni’s public list cover the EU, the rest cover the US and Canada (Incogni). Incogni works in 34 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, Switzerland and every EU member state, and the scope of removals depends on local privacy law (Incogni). For European users the custom requests in Unlimited are what make the service useful on local sites.

Across Europe, few people ask websites to delete their data themselves. In Eurostat’s 2025 survey, 10.97% of people aged 16 to 74 in the EU said they had asked a website or search engine in the previous three months to access, correct or delete the data it held on them. Austria and Finland lead; in Germany it was 3.80% (Eurostat).

Is it cheaper than buying Incogni on its own?
Incogni Unlimited on its own currently costs $179.88 a year before tax, a discounted price shown against $359.76 (Incogni). At today’s price, 27 months come to about $404.73. One Pro costs $215.73 for the same period and adds the VPN, antivirus and the rest. At today’s yearly price, One Pro’s renewal costs only about $19 a year more than Incogni Unlimited bought on its own. Incogni doesn’t publish what its standalone plan renews at.

Two limits are worth knowing upfront. Surfshark doesn’t say how many people can use Incogni under One Pro; the standalone Unlimited plan covers one person, and families get a pricier Family Unlimited plan. Incogni bought in a bundle also can’t be upgraded inside the Incogni account (Incogni help center).
05The VPN: speed, servers and privacy
The VPN is still the core of the bundle. Surfshark runs more than 4,500 servers in 100 countries, all RAM-only, so data is wiped on every reboot (Surfshark). You can connect an unlimited number of devices at once (help center).
The apps offer WireGuard (with post-quantum protection), OpenVPN and IKEv2. The Mac App Store version also has Surfshark’s own Dausos protocol, audited by Cure53 in 2026 (help center, Dausos). There is a kill switch, a two-server MultiHop connection, a rotating IP option and split tunneling for chosen apps (help center).
Speed
In April 2026 TechRadar measured a median of 1,021 Mbps with Surfshark over WireGuard on the nearest server and 935 Mbps from the US to the UK. OpenVPN managed 825 Mbps. Only NordVPN edged it out, at 1,249 Mbps. Latency is the weak spot: TechRadar recorded latency and jitter (how much latency varies) about twice as bad as other top VPNs (TechRadar).
The One Pro offer page quotes 1,615 Mbps, citing TechRadar and a comparison date of April 10, 2026 (Surfshark). We could not find that figure in the current TechRadar table the link points to, where Surfshark shows 1,021 Mbps (TechRadar).
Privacy and audits
Surfshark is based in the Netherlands, which doesn’t require VPN providers to keep user data (Surfshark). Deloitte verified its no-logs policy in 2023 and 2025. Note the scope: the 2025 audit is a point-in-time assessment as of June 10, 2025, not a review of a whole period (Deloitte, PDF).
Surfshark’s own record of government requests is consistent with the no-logs claim. In the second quarter of 2026 Surfshark received 33 inquiries from government bodies and one warrant. According to Surfshark, all it could give a court in Amsterdam was confirmation that the account existed and its payment details (Surfshark).
In September 2026 Surfshark disclosed a security incident. A misconfigured internal test server was reachable from the internet, and an attacker obtained parts of app binaries, internal configuration and build credentials that had been committed to code history. The attacker also reached an isolated proxy server. Surfshark says none of these systems had access to user data and no VPN services were affected. The company admitted it first treated the August 31 alert as a lower-risk case and has promised another independent audit (Surfshark).
06Antivirus: strong protection, slower installs
Surfshark Antivirus runs on Windows 10 and later, macOS 11 and later and 64-bit Android 10 and later. It doesn’t run on iPhone, Linux or Windows on ARM. It covers five devices at most, even though the VPN has no device limit (Surfshark).
AV-TEST put it through its May and June 2026 round on Windows 11. It scored a full 6 out of 6 for protection, 6 for usability and 4.5 for performance. It stopped 100% of zero-day attacks in May and 99.8% in June (industry average 99.9%) with no false positives. It earned certification but not the TOP PRODUCT award (AV-TEST).

Performance is the one weak point: installs took 137% longer on a standard PC against a test average of 30%. Launching common programs was 18% slower (average 12%), while loading websites, downloading and copying files were on par with or better than average. You’ll feel it most when installing a lot of software at once.
07Scam protection and breach alerts
From the One plan upward, the bundle includes several anti-scam tools. Each works in a different place and has its own limits:
- Text message protection: on Android it scans incoming texts, including links, in real time and needs access to your messages and contacts (help center). On iPhone it moves suspicious texts to the Spam folder in Messages (help center).
- Email scam checker: only in the Google Chrome extension and only for Gmail in the browser (help center). It doesn’t work in Outlook, Yahoo Mail or on your phone.
- Web content blocker: stops scam and phishing sites and, optionally, other categories. It doesn’t work while another VPN is on (help center).
- Scam call protection: listed as “Coming soon” on the pricing page, so not available yet (Surfshark).
- Alert: checks whether your email addresses, passwords, cards or ID numbers show up in leaked databases. It works in the desktop and mobile apps and in browser extensions (help center).
So One Pro won’t protect you from the most damaging phone scams yet, where someone poses as your bank or the police. 08What you may not be able to use
Part of what you pay for depends on where you live. Check these before you buy:
- Identity theft coverage up to $1M applies only to residents of the US, its territories and DC, excluding New York State (help center). One+ includes it too, so it isn’t a reason to pick One Pro.
- Surfshark Search is being shut down: it’s already gone on iPhone, left Android in August and will disappear from other platforms by the end of 2026 (Surfshark).
- Scam call protection is not available anywhere yet.
- Incogni works only in its 34 supported countries (Incogni).
09Who One Pro is for, and who should skip it
One Pro makes sense mainly for people who are bothered by where their personal details show up online and want that handled without writing requests themselves. If you mostly want a VPN, One Pro costs you about three times as much as you need to spend.

10Buying, refunds and canceling
Surfshark offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only on your first purchase and only once per service. Renewal payments are non-refundable (Surfshark). The guarantee covers purchases on the website, through Google Play and some other resellers. If you subscribe through the App Store, Apple handles refunds (help center).
In the EU you also have a legal 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases. If you ask for a service to start during that period, you can still withdraw but may have to pay for the time you used; for digital content, the right can lapse entirely once you agree and are told so. The 30-day guarantee is the simpler route. Surfshark only offers a free trial for the VPN on its own: seven days, through a separate page (help center).
- Order One Pro through the offer page and pay, for example by card or PayPal. The full list of payment methods for your region appears at checkout.
- Install the Surfshark app and sign in. The VPN, antivirus and Alert live in one app.
- Use the confirmation email to create your Incogni account and sign the authorization for removal requests.
- If you don’t want automatic renewal, turn it off in your Surfshark account. Your services keep running until the end of the paid period.

12Conclusion
Surfshark One Pro is a good buy for one specific group: people who want their personal details off the internet and know which sites they are on. For them it’s cheaper in the first term than Incogni Unlimited alone, with the VPN and antivirus included. If you mainly want a VPN, Starter or One costs about a third as much in the first term.
Expect the price to jump after 27 months, and remember that the identity theft coverage only helps US residents. Put the renewal date in your calendar and decide before then whether you still need Unlimited.
