The website leads visitors to a free consultation, offers four grant and tax deduction calculators and runs in Czech and English. In the admin the company edits every text on the website and handles enquiries, job applications and GDPR requests.
About the project
Grant Consulting a.s. is a Czech grant consultancy with more than 17 years of experience. It has secured CZK 5.6 billion in grants for its clients and helps businesses, municipalities and non-profits with EU and state grants, energy audits, public tenders and R&D tax deductions. We designed and built a new website for it, together with an admin where the company runs all website content and its communication with clients. The website is built on a clean red and white identity and leads visitors to one step: booking a free initial consultation. Four calculators help them get there, showing without any sign-up the tax saving, company size under EU rules, suitable programmes and the payback of an investment with a grant. The calculator result is sent as an enquiry, which reaches the company by email and in the admin. The whole website is in Czech and English, including news, testimonials, careers and legal pages. In the admin every text, photo and the order of blocks on each page can be edited, with a live preview for desktop, tablet and mobile. Changes save automatically and only go live after a review: publishing builds a new version of the website, which stays static and fast, and any earlier version can be restored. The company has enquiries in one place with statuses, assignees and template replies, a newsletter with double opt-in and GDPR requests with deadline tracking. Access is protected by roles and two-factor authentication, and content is backed up daily.

Design notes
- Four calculators: the R&D tax deduction under the rules from 2026 with a chart of savings by year, company size under EU rules, programmes, loans and deductions that match the plan, and the payback of an investment with and without a grant. No sign-up, instant results.
- The company size calculator loads the company by its ID number from the Czech ARES register. The company changes rates, limits and calculator rules in the admin, and the website shows the date the rules apply from.
- On the home page visitors choose what they plan to finance and the website shows the matching service. Search covers services, grant calls, news, FAQs and testimonials. Visitors can also download a free eBook, The First Grant Million.
- The contact, calculator, careers and eBook forms save enquiries to the admin and notify the company by email. The newsletter uses double opt-in. A hidden field and a submission limit protect the forms from bots.
- The whole website is in Czech and English. Every page has its own title, description and share image, and the site has structured data, a sitemap and redirects. On desktop it scores 100 for performance in Lighthouse, and the map on the contact page loads only as the visitor scrolls near it.
- Analytics and marketing tools only run with consent from the cookie bar, and consent can be changed at any time from the footer. The GDPR and cookie pages are edited in the admin.
- Signing in to the admin takes a password and a code from an authenticator app, with backup codes, a list of signed-in devices and sign-out after inactivity. Three roles: Admin, Editor and Author. An editor or admin approves changes made by an author.
- Enquiries have the statuses New, In progress, Done and Spam, an assignee, an internal note and deadline tracking. Replies go out by email from templates such as a meeting proposal or a request for documents. The list exports to CSV.
- Pages are built from blocks that can be reordered and hidden, with a live preview for desktop, tablet and mobile. Edits save automatically, with change history, a lock against simultaneous editing and restore of deleted items.
- News has a block editor and scheduling. Seven content collections: client quotes and logos, FAQs, open positions, press mentions, sponsorship and grant programmes. The media library converts photos to WebP and checks alt text.
- Publishing shows pending changes and pre-publish checks, builds the website now or at a scheduled time and keeps a version history. GDPR requests are verified by email with a 30 day deadline. Content is backed up daily and links are checked.
- The admin screenshots in the gallery show sample data, not the company's real clients.
