Golf pro Všechny OPEN

A 3D golf game on the real Ropice course that we built for customers of the Golf pro Všechny golf store. Play it free in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, alone or with up to four players.

About the project

The golf season in the Czech Republic ends with the first frost, and courses then stay closed for months. So we built a game for customers of the Golf pro Všechny online store that lets them play golf any time: in winter, on the go or in the evening with friends. It is a free gift for customers and marketing that keeps them close to the brand outside the season too. The game is played on a faithful copy of Ropice Golf Resort below the Beskydy mountains: 27 holes in three nines, with outlines traced from the official course plans. Players choose 9 or 18 holes, a tee and a handicap. They play solo, as a pair or in a flight of four on one device, and can challenge a friend with a link to the same round. Hole results show new arrivals from the store, and finishing the first nine unlocks a reward. Nothing to install, no sign-up.

Design notes

Ropice Golf Resort: 27 holes in three nines, Ocelová, Werková and Železná, par 72 for every eighteen, five tees and hole lengths from the official scorecards.
Ball physics: wind in flight, terrain slope and different friction on the green, fairway, rough and sand. Water and out of bounds cost a penalty stroke.
Five handicap bands from HCP 0 to 10 up to 40.1 to 56. A higher handicap means lighter wind, a bigger cup and the full shot preview.
Duel and flight on one device: each player finishes the hole and hands the phone to the next, and the scorecard keeps the order.
Challenge a friend without a server: the whole round is encoded in the link, so the friend plays the same course, tee, handicap and wind.
Music, birdsong and the sound of each shot are synthesised right in the browser with Web Audio. The game downloads no audio files at all.
A separate 3D course tour: all 27 holes from the tee, from the green or as a view of the whole hole.
Even an AI agent in the browser can play: through WebMCP the game offers it tools to read the game state, set up a shot and hit it.
