CyberGhost lists prices in euros before tax, with the note “Taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction” (CyberGhost). In the EU, checkout adds your country’s VAT, for example 21% in the Czech Republic or 23% in Slovakia.

A dedicated IP at half price

A dedicated IP address normally costs €5 a month before tax. With a multi-year plan CyberGhost takes 50% off, so it is €2.50 a month. The address is yours alone and not shared with other VPN users, which helps with company systems that only let in approved IP addresses. You pay for it upfront for the whole plan period and pick the country after purchase from the available locations (CyberGhost).

The Security Suite antivirus is another paid add-on and works on Windows only. Windows already ships with Microsoft Defender, so the add-on mainly makes sense if you want antivirus and VPN from one company.

04Money-back guarantee and free trial

The MVP plan comes with a 45-day money-back guarantee; the monthly plan gets only 14 days (help center). Within that window you can ask for a full refund. Note that turning off auto-renewal does not start a refund request.
